It is well designed and easy to assemble. The infra red burners are self lighting and set on an angle along the front and rear walls of the cooking area, with the heat reflected upwards via stainless steel inserts. One advantage is that the food does not flame up and get burned.
I love the control of my infrared grill. It gives me the ability to quickly adjust heat temperatures for direct and indirect cooking. On high it gets hot quick! And sears meat beautifully.
One of the main reasons I bought the grill was for the 10 year burner warranty, but when I put it all together I was more impressed with the fit and finish. The stainless steel is gorgeous, and the folding shelves were a must for my space requirements.
